To receive and decode digital signals DRM "Digital Radio Mondiale" is to connect a down converter to 455 KHz.
In my case my Kenwood R-2000 Down Converter and this small band of financial transfers from 455 to a new fi of 12 kHz.
This is achieved thanks to the famous ci Philips SA602 that inside has a converting step and a step rf oscillator.
The CI said oscillator crystal is connected to 467 kHz and by mixing remove 12 kHz apart from 467 to 455 = 12 kHz.
fi This new signal of 12 kHz. sent to sound card PC for scanning and processing by appropriate software
